“Thick, juicy, mouthwatering burgers”
Located next to Sunset Place on South Dixie Highway, ROK:BRGR is a burger bar and gastropub that has been voted best burger in Florida, and I’m pretty sure I know why. With a menu filled with delicious burgers, sides, and beer, I can definitely say that I’ll be visiting again.
My first visit to ROK:BRGR (July 4, 2016) was a Monday and lucky us! Mondays are 10 dollar burgers all around! And who doesn’t love a good discounted burger?
I got the ROK:BRGR which was a 2011 “Burger Battle Fan Favorite Champion”. This burger has aged Vermont cheddar and smoked pepper bacon with a side of bbq bourbon sauce. Taking a bite into this burger, the juices from the meat bursts out leaving my mouth chewing and savoring on delicious flavors. Each burger comes with a side of fries, but of course, I wanted truffle fries so I exchanged it. The truffle fries! OH BOY, I always love a good batch of truffle fries, and these definitely hit the spot. I wanted to try their jalapeno poppers, but let’s just say we were incredibly STUFFED with the burger, let alone the fries! It’s safe to say that I’ll be back for another burger and to try their jalapeno poppers.
Rok:BRGR has got to be on my top list of burger joins in South Florida. With locally raised meat, refreshing drinks, and mouthwatering burgers, you’ll find yourself coming back sooner than later.
